The closest bicycle racks to the Sedley office are on Woodstock Street (behind Juice Box, W1C 2AD) available on a first come first serve basis. A Santander Bicycle docking station can also be found on Woodstock Street (opposite Yo Sushi, W1C 2AQ). For health and safety reasons, bicycles are not permitted in the office area.
All visitors are required to sign in at reception.
The office operates with a combined access control system, operated by a 'fob', that aims to control and monitor access throughout the building. All employees are issued with a personal access control fob that determines the extent of their movement within the building. All fobs issued grant access to Sedley Place during opening hours.
Should you lose your fob, please contact reception as soon as possible. If it is subsequently returned or found again it should be handed back to the FM Solutions Team. It is important for employees to note that Walgreens Boots Alliance cannot be held responsible for the theft of any personal items from the floors therefore due care should be taken. The access readers are there for the protection of employees and their property as far as feasible.
In order to heighten levels of security in the Sedley Place Corporate Office, the below lift procedure has been implemented:
Colleagues will need to place their fob on the fob pad in the lift before selecting the required floor (3 or 4)
Visitors/guests will be buzzed into the building, in the usual way, and once they are in the lift Reception will see them on the security camera and call the lift to the 4th floor
The fob will not be required for colleagues or visitors/guests when going from either floor back to the ground floor
Any visitors/guest, who have a meeting on 3rd floor, will be provided with a temporary fob that must be returned to reception before they leave the building
